Best of the day was pedro69 with a 6/1 winner at Wincanton. Nice one!
He climbs +9 places, out of the drop-zone and into the relative safety of 19th place.
His sights will be firmly set on reaching the Top 5 now, which I'm sure his backers will be pleased to see.

Also climbing +9 places was Cloughie1 with a very acceptable 4/1 winner. He moves into 8th spot.

zipper maintains his lead after the Christmas break with 5/4 Binocular, and Tightfisted moves up into 2nd with his 7/2 winner.

Red Bloom and travelling man both edge  a bit closer to the Top 5 with odds-on shots, but feastorfamine increases the gap slightly with a 5/4 winner.

potlessagain was the only other winner today who gains 91p but stays where he is on the table.


I'll update the Promotion Betting Comp stuff first thing in the morning.

Promotion Betting Comp

With 5 racing days still to go, the worst that zipper can end up with now if he doesn't find another winner is a final total of £5.25.
So, you've either got to beat his Betting Comp total of £3,250, or 5 players have got to overtake him.
Fairly obvious I suppose but I just thought I'd spell it out.

And don't forget when planning your final strategy (if you still have any funds left) that NO BETTING IS ALLOWED ON THE FINAL DAY.
So there are only 4 betting days left, including today.
