CALLING DIVISIONAL SETTLERS

I posted a query about this to PDB yesterday evening on the Div 1 thread. No reply yet.

Ok momm`s. I`ll keep an eye on the threads today and see what the general consensus is.

Personally, i`m happy to run with Friday as optional.

We need an across the board decision on this and quick.

I'd go for making it optional personally....

Shane is out for the evening and PDB has presumably been at work all day and will be back some time this evening.

With hindsight, we really needed a decision yesterday so we could let everyone know today. It may already be too late to make it compulsory across the board as a lot of those who think it's optional may not look in again until Boxing Day. Khyber Kim for example in Div3 has already signed off with 'see you all on Boxing Day'.

So we may have to do this on a Divisional basis rather than across the board.

I say that because they've been discussing it on the Prem thread today and decided to make it compulsory.

In Division 2 however, one or two comments I've made in the last few days have probably given players the impression that it will be optional (because I assumed it would be). I was just sitting here trying to decide what to do when I saw your post.

Hi Guys  for what its worth  make it optional  (1) people have friends round its Christmas  ..(2)  very few know the Irish Form or care  But if its compulsory  Zip will pick you a winner ..Merry Christmas  To All .

I meant to reply about this. I personally think Optional is best, that way those who wish to play can and those who don`t loose nothing. It will mean manually entering "selection" and Nr for result to any non posters`s.
