King of the castle is zipper with a splendid 6/1 winner at Wolverhampton which takes him 2.5 points clear at the top of the table. Top tipping.
Just 4 days ago zipper was down in 21st place, but winners at 7/1, 4/1 and now today's 6/1 have justified his faith in backing himself for promotion.
A bit early to start celebrating though. Still 7 racing days to go, and if he doesn't find any more winners he could end up on £3.00 which might not be enough.
potlessagain got on the winning trail again today and made a gain of +6 places with a 9/2 winner.
The Grey One weighed in with the same 9/2 shot and rises +5 places.
Cloughie1 also gained +5 places with a 9/4 winner which he badly needed, having been a bit out of form recently.
And Andrew In Sweden regains a tiny bit of lost ground with his 15/8 winner to keep his promotion hopes alive. Still well in contention.
No luck once again for the 5 players down in the disaster area.
But Gaz went from last to first in just 2 days last month so it's a bit early to write any of them off yet.
Good luck for the final day before the break (although there is racing from Dundalk on Friday evening if you fancy a bash at that)

If Andrew In Sweden gets on the podium he'll have a total of £3,450.
bluenose7 would be on about £4,000 if he gets there.
There are plenty of others who can achieve winning totals with the bets they've placed so far, but they'd all need a combination of the right players to get there. I haven't worked out all the permutations.
But, as I wrote in the write-up, zipper is by means guaranteed promotion yet so that target could change.
No new bets placed today and no new additions or losses in the Top 5, so I won't bother reposting the bets-placed list or the leaderboard.
They're on yesterday's thread if you need to look at them and do a bit of maths.

As stated in the Rules, which have been posted at least a dozen times (although I'm quite prepared to concede that no-one ever reads them), the ONLY market available to bet on in the Promotion Betting Comp is the Top 5 market.
Which is why I placed the bet for you in the place market. Feel free to retract it if you'd rather put the money somewhere else.
