miscreant man was top scorer yesterday with 9/4 Idol Deputy.
Biggest climbers were dogdayafternoon and Poppydog who gain +8 and +6 respectively.
potlessagain completed a 5-timer of odds-on winners, giving him a total gain of +10 places over the last six days.
And Red Bloom was one of two players who scored with the shortest price of the day, but a 1/3 winner is enough to get him back into 4th place.

Promotion Betting Comp Rules

The competition is about who you think will win promotion to Division 1 at the end of the month. (NOT who wins the Title)
The Title prices are there for interest's sake only. The prices you will be betting at are the ones in the TOP 5 column.
The winner will be the player with the highest total profit at the end of the month.

Each player has £500 to bet with.

    - minimum bet £10
    - maximum bet in any one day on any one player £100
    - all bets must be exact multipes of £10
    - bet on the same player as many times as you like
    - bet on as many different players as you like (including yourself)
    - bet on as many different days as you like
    - no betting on the first day or the last day of the month
    - all bets must be placed by Midday (the start time of the first eligible race may be earlier in which case you may not bet on anyone whose selection for that day has already run)
    - any player who retires will be deemed to have crashed through the rails. i.e. No refunds

fortieschild entered the fray yesterday, taking advantage of the Special Offer, and goes straight into 2nd place on the leaderboard.

The bottom rung of the Top 5 is still only £4, and with 11 napping days still to go it's well within everyone's reach.
And with the table leader only on £8, no-one on the podium has any reason to start feeling secure yet.
It's very wide open.
