Anyone who tried to have a bet today on players to win the Div2 title rather than to win promotion (which is what the PROMOTION Betting Competition is all about) might want to go back to the previous thread and do a bit of reading. Grin

raspberrybottom was Top Gnu today witha splendid 6/1 winner. He takes pole position closely followed by Tightfisted who followed up yesterday's success with an 11/4 shot.

Not much you can say about the 7 odds-on winners other than they did better than the 21 of you who all lost. Happy

I have to say that the 10/1 available for some players looks incredibly generous at this stage.
Mind you, it probably accounts for the underround of nearly 20% today.
And the odds-on prices for the two leaders seem incredibly mean.
I don't know what M*E*O*W was thinking!

Still, there's a long way to go and anything can happen.
Don't forget that last month Gaz went from 66/1 for a place to 1/100 in just two days.

Your bet was rejected unfortunately. It was basically a case of "Computer says No!"

You asked for 33/1 for DFC to win the title, but the Competition is for who wins Promotion, not the Title.
A full explanation was given on yesterday's thread if you'd like to go back and read it.

So, there's no problem obviously with you have having a bet on DFC to win promotion.
Would you still like it at yesterday's price of 11/2 or would you prefer today's price of 10/1? Happy
