Following yesterday's 25/1 corker, Gaz found another beauty today with 16/1 Barton Bounty at Wolves. Fantastic stuff. Last to first in two easy stages!
So, long time leader One Shot 2 Shot drops down into 2nd place, and suddenly the rest of the podium isn't looking quite as safe as it was. That's because there were some other splendid winners today which has bunched up the field somewhat in the promotion battle area.
A 6/1 from raspberrybottom, 9/2 from DFCIRONMAN, 3/1 from Ricky Santini and learning thegame, and 11/4 from Ashmal have thrown the whole promotion race very wide open. All excellent winners.
You've got to feel a bit sorry for Tightfisted though. On the podium in 5th yesterday. Dropped -6 places to 11th today as a result of all those winners.
Ming didn't fare too well either. He lost -5 places today. But they're both still well in contention for promotion.
No excitement today at the lower end of the table. Apart from Kentish Man and stealthgun, everyone lost another pound.
Good luck for the penultimate day tomorrow.
