I`m afraid I have made what looks a bit like a unilateral decision to recruit. There has been no sign of system99 since The Comp restart. The thread has been up for 4 and a half weeks. I have tried PMing him and putting out a call on the main HR forum. I haven`t got his e-mail address and nobody said they had when I asked. In theory we should have replaced him after 2 weeks without communication but I was reluctant to change what has been a very stable team.
I have asked undecided if he has anybody waiting for a place. As I understand it the protocol is that we accept anybody who is. I don`t think he has tbh.
If not then our new member will be the dealer who is well known to shearer and quite well known to me. I knew shearer had mentioned months ago that he was close to someone who was interested in joining us. I asked him to sound out said person. As it happens that guy has decided against but shearer has a wide circle and the dealer showed interest. He did take part in The Naps Tables fairly briefly and won one division or another with a profit of £80+ so he hardly needs a recommendation from that point of view. More important from what I know of him he seems a very nice bloke.

Didnt try very hard for the places there did he -and thats what i hate about these whip rules as the horse was needing to be stoked along early doors and jockey had to use a few of his allotted strikes up early doors and then seemed reluctant to give him a crack down the home straight which may well have got him involved -oh well never mind the dealers already told me hes got a 20/1 beauty lined up for tomorrow

Thinking about it there is a cut-off point for selections of 4.00PM although you can select in races later than that. If anybody hasn`t posted by 2.00PM on Sat,or let us know they will be late,I will start looking for a wildcard. Where they haven`t posted at all the previous week I will sanction the use of the wildcard at any time if I think it`s appropriate.
I`m afraid we have had another rather poor week. Just two 2nds that gave us place pts but not at great odds.
