It's always a huge relief to look at the table after I've posted and see that there are no blunders.
It's the highlight of my day!
Just the one winner yesterday but what a difference it's made to the look of the table.
DFCIRONMAN gets his 4th winner of the month with 10/1 Jeu De Vivre at Hamilton, taking him nearly 12 points clear at the top of the table.
Excellent work.
Still 12 days to go though so he's not uncatchable by any means.
Simply gaining promotion is an easier target of course with 5th place currently only on 3.01.
The battle to avoid relegation has been a relatively quiet affair so far this month with the bottom 4 still looking for their first winner of the month.
But only 7.50 separates the bottom 8 at the moment so I expect to see that battle start to hot up any day now.
Horny38DD has been unable to post a selection on 9 of the 15 compulsory days this month for whatever reason, and could definitely benefit from leaving a standing instruction in place to cover those days.
[midas7's no. of instructions has been updated to 8 as I missed one. No surprise there!]

Hi miscreant.
As I explained in that rather long post a couple of Mondays ago, I don't have Excel on this computer and the rather complicated macro which takes most of the hard work out of the settling doesn't work in OpenOffice. So I have to do a lot of the work manually which is very time-consuming. So it's a big time saver for me if I can just copy and paste the selections into the spreadsheet without having to edit them in any way.
All I'm asking for is for everyone to type them out EXACTLY as they appear on the table, including capitalised words and the dash in the middle. Everyone only has to do it once. I have 30 of them to go through. A little cooperation is all I'm asking for to make my life a bit easier. And the majority have now fallen into the habit of doing it that way, which is absolutely great.
For example, ideally 'ingleby star 4.40 ham' should look like this: Ingleby Star - 4.40 Ham. No editing needed. A simple c&p for me.
It's not very important in the great scheme of things; I realise that. I just like things to look neat with some consistency to it otherwise it just looks a mess. Just trying to do the best job I can.
And the answer to your question is No, there's no need to write out the meeting in full. It can be abbreviated: Kemp for Kempton; Good for Goodwood etc.
Hopefully I'll be getting my hands on a copy of Excel very shortly which will make it all a lot easier again. But it'll still save me time if everyone keeps doing it that way.
If you don't start finding a few winners soon you won't have to worry about it for much longer anyway.
