I have took a chance on Evan Williams horse Charm School in 3.40 Chep ew, could be anything, hopefully in a good way.

I seem to remember it's not the first time those pesky Barons have pipped us at the post!

Anyway well done, we're in good form and every chance for 2nd overall at least.

Well Done team, I am finding it hard to find the time to study on Saturday`s at the moment, so I will try to select mid-week this week for a change.

I've been "busy" on STATS analysis for last few weeks......so not having time either PDB re seeking selection etc etc.

Had a look at only 3 races for selection in DIV1 comp.....and opted for one at not too outrageous odds that might find conditions in favour today.

However, for team have gone for an "outrageous" one ew.........It might sneak into a place at high odds, with relatively small, but COMPETITIVE, field size and difficult conditions that MIGHT give it a chance today. Jockey booking for this type of race is "interesting"......seems to have a 1 in 3 strike rate in chases for trainer.

At the odds is worth a try today for team.......though unlikely to win!

Mines was a total no-trier today IMO ...Gave up 20 lengths at start ...and given "gentle" ride......Perhaps in JANUARY it will "try"...on HEAVY going!

I am also extending the cut-off for selections on next Saturday only to 8pm.

I am trying the mid week tatic as I have had some time to study today, so I have put up Veroon 10 pts win in 7.10  Kemp tonight, I expect to go off around 9/2. P. Hanagan did`nt have to get serious on this one last time.

Well Done ud with Great Endeavor in Paddy Power, it was my first thought with the stable in form, owner/trainer record etc, but I then moved to the Henderson horse. I was concerned with the going and did`nt know they had a major down pour last night. Maybe if I had asked for yout thought`s before posting I may have moved back to Pipe horse nevermind. Hopefully get some win points in 8.20 Wol tonight.

ah well we all change our minds and have to make 50/50 decisions and so on, another day you would have been right to.
Anyway hope your evening pick can make up and perhaps get us up to 3rd.
I enjoyed that win because the horse travelled & jumped beautifully on the whole, just a pity that I was too stubborn with wanting 14 on here and missed backing it

I would have gone for Rival D'Estruval in the big hcap but jimnast has already picked it so I'll dig deeper

We also have a wildcard for ftg.

Turn Over Sivola - is my nap in LEAGUE comp.....in 3.55 Ascot.

Very competitive race , with many horses with fitness advantage........but "feel" A KING may "come to life" today ....and this one MIGHT run a good race. MIGHT only PLACE , so an EW selection would be option for TEAM.

So putting this forward for "wildcard" POSSIBLE selection............and will leave decision to PDB if other options put forward

Good Morning Team and good luck with your selections today, I have gone for the Nicholls / Walsh combination Aiteen Thirtythree in the Hennessy. Think Curruthers might run into a place and if Great Endeavour can repeat his Cheltenham run he will take some catching.

Double Dizzy 12.20 Newb for me.

In the Hennessy, I respect Great Endeavour very much, just a slight doubt for me about trip and that it's day was at Chelt, so at the current price I'll pass. I'm looking at Wayward Prince & Beshabar, and Balthazar King best of the outsiders for a place.

Damm I was going to put up Curruthers in the big race comp and the team comp then changed my mind again.

Unlucky PDB .....i had an inkling CURRUTHERS might win that race too....was on my short list for team. As usual was torn between 2 for team....and opted for higher odds one for team ......which was nowhere ...and took short odds one for DIV 2 comp...and it wins fairly easily!

AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..........we all "suffer" from "picking wrong one of 2".....!!!!!

At least we have holiday soon to look forward too....Enjoy the break"guys".

Sorry ...once again Capt....Seem to be struggling to go for the higher odds ones this year. Probably caused due to me spending huge amount of time analysing  past results of rated races.......and not spending time on checking out races on a day to day basis.

I know that in NEW YEAR I will once again be checking out EVERY horse race in BRITAIN, as finally my system will be getting used again. So fair chance I can hit some better priced winners next year
