Mark Sloan opens up a slight gap at the top of the table with 5/4 Collect Art.

Best of the day was caulkhead who found a 4/1 winner in Sixty Eight Guns at Wexford.

At the bottom of the table it's always good to see someone climb out of the relegation zone, as Kingmambo did with 2/1 King Kurt.

But one's joy quickly turns to sorrow as you realise that it's at the expense of dropping someone else in it.

Such is life.
