A blank day for the principals but no change at the top following great scores on the first three days. Score of the day goes to Stake & Chips with double points on Mount Athos and Yaa Wayl. TEN2FOLLOWER had a couple on Moriarty to snare some points in the final table up into 4th position. An amazing total from FOREST OF DEAN with 54 points and the top seven all managing very decent 20+ scores.
The Big meeting comp rolls on to the Leger meeting at Town Moor for another four days of top class action starting 8th September. The Guvenor will be updating the overall table over the weekend if he escapes the table dancing girls of York.
(figures in brackets are corrections from day three. Any further mistakes will be repaired as they are pointed out).

Congratulations, FOREST OF DEAN - TOP TIPSTERING.
Muqbil, you seem to have missed at least two non-runners. For example, those who selected Fleeting Spirit (eg myself, tv man (who also had NR Distant Memories) and madhatter). You've given Mad 4 points when he should be -3 (sorry, Mad - only noticed 'cos I was checking who else had tipped Fleeting Spirit [:(]). Sorry for being a pain in the @rse, just thought I'd point it out in case it affects anyone who's in contention for a Top 10 place in the annual table. PS I've not checked anyone else's score  |

I will double check the scores later today and update the table as required. Ricky, I will have an updated table up by noon tomorrow. The winner is unaffected by the ongoing enquiry. Apologies folks I was trying to get the table sorted before Wolverhampton started last night! |

Only a slight change as GeorgeB spotted my sneaky ploy and he leapfrogs me in the table... (If any of you guys have an easy option for putting the table in the neat format a la the divisions, would be useful for next season maybe?) |
