Lincoln this Saturday already!
Regrettably I am unable to continue to run this comp, I don't like starting something that has proven to be popular and then dropping it but I can't spare the time anymore :(
The door is open for someone to take over either running the comp in it's present format or something along those lines, I and I'm sure a few dozen other regulars would be grateful.

give me some ideas how to run it i.e. points and the race schedule i think you did 6 places for the flat season anyway i have the time as i am full time :-) |

2009 - custardcream64 2008 - Playschool 2007 - undecided HERITAGE HANDICAP CHALLENGE 2010 The competition will cover 26 (or so) of the biggest Heritage Handicaps of the flat season. A thread on which selections can be posted will be put up a couple of days before the race and selections can be made up to 1/2hr before race time. Players are given 2 stake points per race. Players can use the 2pts on 1 selection or share the 2pts between 2 selections, 1pt each. Points will be awarded based on each selections finishing position down to 6th place. Results will be settled at SP. 1st place will get stake x 12 x SP 2nd place will get stake x 6 x SP 3rd place will get stake x 4 x SP 4th place will get stake x 3 x SP 5th place will get stake x 2 x SP and 6th place will get stake x 1 x SP Non-runners: If you choose one selection, please feel free to nominate a reserve just in case of late withdrawal. If you choose two selections and one is a non-runner, your 2pts will go on the remaining selection. In either case you can replace a non-runner as normal up to the 1/2hr cut-off time. If you make a selection and it doesn't run and you haven't covered it with a reserve, your 2pts will go on the favourite (in case of jt or co favs then the 2pts will go on the one which is highest in the hcap). Anyone welcome to join at any time. The following is a list of the 26 or so intended races in the comp: They may change! Thanks for your kind words, I'll still be running all the other comps for the foreseable, it's just that this was one too many, so good luck for the coming flat season, I shall attempt to regain my title ;)
