This month's competition went right down to the wire and wasn't won until the final day. It's been nip and tuck all the way with the top four going into today's heat all holding chances, amongst others, but it was The Lord BUSH from outside the top ten who came with a withering late run to snatch this month's title after Trenchant obliged at 8/1. That saw The Lord climb ten spots to nick the championship with a total profit of £6.65 and an overall strike rate of just over 33%.
Nice one TLB, immaculate timing sir ! :) Just 60p behind in 2nd comes Aquarius who seemed to have done enough with his winner yesterday, but it wasn't to be. Losing no caste in defeat, he ends the month on £6.05. Well done. In close 3rd comes Moose who napped 9/10f Won In The Dark. With a final profit of £5.96 he was just 9p in arrears of Aqua in 2nd. Six others ended the month in profit : kwalker with £5.57 ; razmos with £5.29 ; Far From Trouble with £1.92 ; Hoss with £1.10 ; little.bobby on £1.01 ; and FCH with 75p. Well done to all you guys. At the foot of the table foxy scrambled clear of the drop zone with 4/6f Tranquil Sea and in doing so condemned poor flanders to the drop. Joining him in Division 1 next month will be valuescope, Sing when ur winning and josh monk. Sorry to see you go but hopefully we'll see you back here again very soon. blue |

Cogratulations to The Lord Bush, clearly he had not enough on Transcend to take the price in an extra point as he thought winning this competition more important than the extra cash! I don't quite know how I managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory with 5 of the 7 winners at Fontwell; suffice to say that may be why I have a timeform squiggle against me.
Thanks also to Bluebook for all his hard work in running this competition. |

That of course should have read Trenchant not Transcend!
