The month ended on a bit of a bum note with no winners ( reckon that's the first time since I took up the reins here ), but we'll forget about that and get on with congratulating this month's champion - flanders !
flanders ( Ned or the North Belgian town, who knows ?! ) takes this month's title with a total of £17.71 and an impressive 61% strike rate. There or thereabouts for most of the month he got the better of Far From Trouble in 2nd, who saw any hope he had of overhauling flan dashed by the abandonment of racing at Hereford, by £2.75. Once again there was a stark contrast in tipping styles between first and second with FFT ending the month with a 25% s/r but a juicy profit of £14.96. These two were well clear of little.bobby in 3rd who finished with £1.94. So, well done flan, a terrific effort. Let's hope you made a few quid as a result. :) Congrats also to FFT in 2nd - so near yet so far ! Still, you gotta be happy with any double fig profit on the month. Others to record a profit this month were PRODELLBOY in 4th with £1.88 and look - its snowing in 5th with 90p. There was no change down in the drop zone which means saying a sad farewell to One Shot 2 Shot, general custer, undecided and Playschool. I hope February proves kinder to you guys and look forward to seeing you gents bak here some time very soon. blue |

nice won flanders ;)
for what it's worth I misinterpreted the rules, I thought the selection had to be in an hour before the first race of the day for some reason :^0 The selection I would have put up lost anyway, so no harm done :| :) |

To be honest I wasn't too sure myself, but I've always understood it to be the first UK race since some don't bet on the Irish gee gees - I don't, for example.
