Hi lads I've gone for The Package Each-Way in the 3.25 Wincanton. I did this last year for us each-way, usually runs a race but the deciding factor for me was the low weight today.

Not sure if we were going to go big prices or shorties ?, anyone let me know for next week if we have tactics in mind.

decent horse in this grade, goes on the ground and course , running into
form and should get an easy lead and probably better class than
most of these...very hopeful and should be nice price, 7/1 or so.

we cannot win this but i really really really do not want us to pick up the
wooden spoon so went for one with a decent chance. personally i thought the mare was at least a stone better than these bar one other.

before a race, then if the race was at 13.35 say, would the selection be valid if it was posted at exactly 12 .35?

As I always say mully, Saturday is the hardest day of the week to pick winners - yet that is always the day when 75% or more of our picks are made. No wonder we have such a carp strike rate.

How many people are waiting to pick one in the Hennessey - the hardest race of the week I wonder?

If I sound a bit peeved its because I am. We are in the position we are now - battling for the wooden spoon - for a reason. And we need to look at changing something...

tbf if you picked one with a pin you'd on average get the same return
as on any other day ; its just that we have probably picked longish priced ones and so the chances of a longer losing run are higher.
you have done well this season TTO; and its a bit rough on the duffers
to say we picked on the wrong day! its a bit of fun and this team
has won this before i believe. ups and downs as they say
ps mine was second :_|

TTO - Lets discuss this in the New year, although we havent had a vintage year in the league, we have won the cup, and we won the league last year, so the trophy cabinet is not exactly bare, and in fairness we have not changed tactics too much - a mixture of shorties, e/w's late plays etc.
