TEAM TIPSTER COMP 2009 - NOV Week 2 - Selections Div 2

The Rules

Monthly rounds:
Each team will have 8 selections per week, one from each player, no duplicate selections (within each division), first come first served.
10pts win or 5pts EW on British, Irish, French (as long as an industry SP is returned) or Dubai racing , selected any day, Sunday through Saturday last race eligible 6.0pm.
Settled at SP, EW terms as industry standard.
Selections must be posted at least one hour before race time.
Once you have posted a selection you are not allowed to change it or the stake, unless it becomes a non-runner or it has already been chosen.
Leaving reserve instructions not allowed.
Non Runners - that team member may choose again for that week.

Wildcards will be available to make up shortfall of numbers or holiday absence. If they are confirmed in advance, then wildcards may be used anytime that following week. If not, then it will be treated as a late wildcard to be used only after noon on Saturday.
Late wildcards will be available after noon on Saturdays to cover unexpected absence so if you may be leaving your selection til after this time you should let your team know otherwise they may use it.
Maximum two wildcards or late wildcards per any one team member per week.
If any player is absent for two weeks running without notice, they may be dropped from the comp.

Teams will start the week from a baseline of 0pts. This equates to 8 losing selections and/or non-selections.
Subsequent scores will be added to this baseline plus return of the winning part of the stake (10pts for win and EW winner, 5pts for EW placed). All scores count.
If there is a tie on weekly profit (or lack of) between two or more teams then the total points for those positions will be shared equally.
Weekly winners will receive 4pts
Runners-up - 3pts, 3rd - 2pts, 4th - 1pt.
Teams will receive 1 bonus point for every 100pts scored during each month, this will count towards the monthly points total.
If at the end of the month there is a tie on points between two or more teams then overall profit will be taken into account.
At the end of each month, the top team in Division 2 will replace the bottom team in Division 1 for the following month and the 2nd placed team in Div 2 will replace the 3rd placed team in Div 1 if their monthly profit is better.

Points structure for overall yearly comp:

Division 1 winners........9pts
Division 1 runners-up....7pts
Division 1 third place.....5pts
Relegation spot...........3pts

Div 2 Promotion spot....7pts
Division 2 runners-up....5pts
Division 2 third place.....3pts
Division 2 4th place......1pt

+ 1 bonus point for every 100pts scored, counting towards the yearly total, + an extra 5 bonus points for the team with the best overall profit at the end of the year!
