Matt is ill still and he still won the XF. How amazing is that?

And if my uncle had tiits he'd be my aunt..

Imagine if Rebecca had had a half decent mentor who gave her half decent songs and who didn't ignore her in favour of someone who could never win this in a million years?

Yes i thought that.  Certainly struggled for the last couple of weeks but won it weeks ago imo.

A classic Lester Piggot story ........... when he rode the derby winner a reporter asked him after the race "When did you know you had the race won Lester"? ............. he replied  "about a month ago"!

He knew ...............

That's spooky Lou as I was going to post that quote early this evening.

Difference is Piggott never broke sweat in that race...this one was VERY close.

It makes me laugh how people mocked matt, the bloke was singing without a voice and still won, he was a thorougly deserved winner and will go onto better things. [;)]

gotta say now it's all over larrence that he's been average the last few weeks but still miles ahead of the rest.had he sung like that at the start i wouldn't have backed him. Happy

i thought he would have sung the songs he had nailed during the series in the final.also i can't believe he never sung duffy's mercy (watch him sing it on youtube) at any stage in the competition.danni did her best to get him beat with some horrendous song choices......it was almost akin to horse doping what she was doing Grin

Don't think it was very close mate.  Matt far too good for them and won it with half a voice in the end.

matt was ill, when he had to he was miles clear of the rest. If you look as his main songs on you tube , they would be huge huge hits. [;)]

The stats don't lie Lou.  Trust me if she'd had better songs over the last 2 nights she WOULD have won....imo [;)]

Can't argue you picked the winner so well done for that.  I was blown away by Rebecca at first audition and to be honest she has turned out to be Dancing Brave...Cheryl Starkey to blame as one wag on here has already pointed out.

Fair enough.  You're a good lad and sorry I'm a bit drunk but hopefully you'll forgive me that.
