Agreed, watching that clip of Alexandra Burke reinforced how average this year was.
Who cares re the quality..the vintage betting year more than makes up for it [;)]
The talent pool with these shows has to start to run dry at some point - fair play to the matt backers they got their win, but I think even Shayne Ward and Andy Abrahams (even then not a 'vintage' year) would have put any of this year's finalists in the shade - and neither of them is all that great...
