All the people i regard as 'Betfair Forum Experts' said One Direction didn't have a chance, and you were all 100% behind Matt.
I wanted you to be wrong, for the 'good of the game' and to prove there could be surprises - but it wasn't to me.

And well done to othh's theory that Matt was top of the vote the last seven weeks! Absolutely spot on. I did doubt that was possible, but now the truth has been revealed.
I am staggered tho. Such an easy win. He really should have been 1/100. A group can never win this show then can they? Well not the kind of group that simon thinks the people like. He would have been better off concentrating more on FYD and putting the Reason through! The Reason had a take that vibe to them. Cowell did look genuinly shocked when he looked at the voting figures. It wasn't acting was it? He genuinly looked shocked. I know a lot of people think he knows - but you could tell the way he acted that he probably doesn't. What do you all think? |

He definitely knows the votes. He's a control freak and knowledge is power.
I think a group could win this as JLS showed...almost. Would have to be older than 1D though. |

Any group to win needs to stay in long enough too allow individual personalities to come through so teens ahve favourites. Girl groups are toast from outset as who votes for them? |

I think JLS were and have proved to be a good act but five young boys who were very very average imo getting to the final 3 was just not right. I'd have rated them of the 16 finalists in hindsight no better than about 9th or 10th imo.

I think 1D where bad for most of us on here.But this was the perfect result for many on here.Great result for me
