My HONEST views on last night

Just watched it this morning and have to say what an awful awful show.  I didn't enjoy one song!  This is their best effort to make the final 3 and these are the best songs they can come up with?  Awful.  I can only hope that Matt's holding back the big songs for tonight because the two he did were very poor choices.

Here goes with marks out of 10:

MATT:  I was pleased he could sing at all as I was worried he had real problems.  Sang it well enough but what an awful dirge of a song.  No nice tune, no nice singalong bit.  I know I do know many songs after about 1977 but I honestly ahve never heard this before and how many will think the same.  I think probably the worst he's done since it started.  Sorry Matt backers just being honest.  That said he's a very likeable decent chap, it was touching to see his Dad get emotional too.  6.5

REBECCA:  See above!  Awful songs choice - never heard of it again, sang it well enough but of all the millions of songs they could pick for her this is the best one of the lot? Nice girl, sang it quite well.  Not great she never moved an inch ...... for a change!  Like Matt, very likeable and sweet though. Nice girl.  7

ONE D:  At last a song I know!  Gretra song we all love I'm sure.  Just two guys sing as usual, they stand in a line, get a mic' each and away they go.  Very very average and have been every week.  Should never have got this far at the cost of better acts and singers.  6

CHER:  I know now that she's out obviously but I thought she is certainly a 'performer' and started well.  But then the rap nonsense started as usual which don't win hardly any votes from manyone over about 21.  The week she sang 'Stay' she stole the show, her chance was to keep doing that sort of thing.  A gallant 4th, the judges were pretty much saying goodbye to her in their analysis.

MATT:  Didn't know or like this song again.  Rubbish.  He wavered off with his vocal at the start and looked awkward.  Rhianna looked very sexy but it's a singing competition so that didn't really help.  Once again Matt not your best saturday night and I hope you're holding the big numbers back for tonight.  6.5

REBECCA:  Lovely song and Christina was the pick of the bunch to get paired with.  How did Rebecca manage to walk down half a dozen stairs?  She sang it well enough though but Christina blew her away when she started and was just different class.  The best of a poor night though for me. 7.5

ONE D:  Once again the same two singers with the three stooges.  Getting Robbie's probably not a bad thing as he's so popular but it just reminded me off six drunk blokes in a pub doing a karaoke number.  Good catchy song but we could have gort 6 blokes from this forum to have done that.  Average again.  6

CHER: You know how I feel about the rap stuff so no good for me again.  I think she can sing but all the attitude nonsense and rap will never win this.  6

Unless something goes awfully wrong I think Matt's easily beat a bad bunch and won it weeks ago.  However if you were tuning in last night and watching you'd be thinking Matt was just average.  Fingers crossed he's done enough.
