It's surprising, particularly if OTHH reports on previous votes are true. I didn't think Rebecca did well enough last night to win, but thought she'd hold her own for second place.
There seems to be a lot of momentum behind One D this weekend, call it hype or hysteria or what you will, but they do seem to be closing the gap on Matt. This would be a nightmare result for me, as I adjusted my book (including forecasts and quadcasts) in such a way that Matt-Rebecca-One D makes me a hell of a lot more money than One D in 1st or 2nd, that's for sure. |

I don't understand her drift. She wasn't great last night but who was? I'd be more concerned about her beating Matt than One D. Don't get the drift.

The way Rebecca's drifted feels like some people have lost faith and are releasing their green.
I'm not a fan of Rebecca, and she doesn't deserve to win - but at 7.2, this price is huge. Look at the VTs and the fans that were supporting the acts - Rebecca had the most by far. |

TRM - I think people have got too distracted by One D's screaming fans. All 3,000 of them (including the shoppers). Rebecca played to 11,000 people in Liverpool, by far and away the most I can remember for any X Factor finalist. She wasn't great last night, but 9.6 is just CRAZY. If I wasn't all out, I'd back to lay - but I wouldn't be at all surprised to still see her finish runner up.

Will Rebecca fans transfer? IMO the worthy winner contingent who fell for the Rebbecca illusion surely cannot see 1D as talented, skilled or have even had to try much. Therefore some transfer to Matt. Plus London based Rebbecca fans. Plus anti Cowell contigent. |
