No disrespect to anyone backing 1d or rebecca, but all the big names on this forum are virtually all convinced matt has this won. Anyone going for the other two are pretty much being ridiculed and having their theories dismissed. Therefore if all the wise know it alls (I don't mean that in a derogatory way - take it as a compliment!) are pretty much in agreement, then surely matt can't lose?!! If rebecca wins then the experts save a bit of face as they tend to agree she's the major threat. But, taking everything on board which I've read, a win for one direction would be a MASSIVE shock! I can't see it happening due to the concencus on this forum. Has a big concensus among the expert names EVER been wrong?

We're all sitting here waiting for a threat but we can't find one. We keep looking though...

and you are right, there's usually more division but most of the Cardle laying is profit taking, worries about his voice, premium charge escaping, bookie backing type stuff. Technical. This is not his "real" price.

CAN the so-called experts be wrong? Of course. Half the votes for the entire series will be cast this weekend, the formbook could go out of the window.
Will it? I doubt it.

Yes things can chage very quickly.Matt is still almost evens with the bookies. If he had already won he would be long odds on.
The vote is very close and reflected in the betting.

Good point.....IMHO you will get a load of middle class parents allowing their kids to make their one vote of the series. Wand to win.

Don't take this the wrong way but I want one direction to win just to prove the experts can get it wrong. It's nothing personal at all, it will just be "good for the game" that we get an upset. The rest of the country won't be shocked at any result as cowell makes them think it's the closest series ever, but to the betfair community a one direction win would blow so many theories out of the water. It would change the way we look at future series and other voting shows. A one direction win would be like the Bengal tiger beat the mountain gorillas in itv's extinct

As far as I have read all the people on here respect the market and will have factored 1D into their book.

I confess it looks to me like Simon knows matt is winning and he has to back a known winner becasue thats where the investment is going. The Rhihanna booking was just the confirmation of previous behaviour. So I will be surprised if Matt loses.

PS look at the Market now. 1D's price is deflated by matt layers greening up.
