*carried over

Surely that would be one trick SC couldn't get away with?

All votes from Liverpool carried over.
The rest wiped between elimination Grin

Vote numbers for each act will remain the same throughout the weekend
Saturday

During Saturday’s show, voting will open near the start of the show and remain open for approximately 90 minutes. Towards the end of the show, the vote will be frozen and the act with the fewest votes will be eliminated. Shortly afterwards the vote lines will unfreeze so that you can continue to vote for the three remaining acts.

All votes placed earlier will be carried forward and added to the next stage of voting.

Sunday

On Sunday the vote will be frozen again and Dermot will announce the act that will be eliminated, leaving just two acts remaining. Following this, you will be able to vote again for your favourite act to be named winner of The X Factor 2010. All votes received during Saturday and Sunday vote periods will be carried forward and added to the final stage of voting.

You will be kept informed by Dermot of when you can vote.

Make sure you don’t vote when the lines are frozen as it won’t be counted but you may still be charged.

His little game will be to try to get Rebecca past Matt. I think he'll be p1ssing in the wind for once tbh

If cancelling the Saturday vote helps, perhaps he'll do it?

If Rebecca is on last wonder how long before lines close....offical call is that opening lines early doesn't affect result (but makes more money for cowell no doubt) but still feels counter intuitive to me.

Thanks Squares.

I think Cowell is unlikely to risk more fix allegations by changing that (but can't rule anything out).

on that voting info page on the XF site, it does actually have a countdown until voting time,

so 7 hrs, 1 min and 2 secs atm

Liverpulians will all make sure Rebecca is voted on all the shows unlike the others.
