when theres a 3 horse race, and all 3 horses have similar possibilities of winning the race, BUT, on is odds-on , and the other two horses are 4.4 & 4.7 ?

When you say they all 3 horses have similar possibilities of winning the race would you call their actual chances 'similar'. Supposing it were Chelsea (I deliberately won't use my own team in this analogy), West Ham and Everton say. Three 'horses' yes but all with 'similar possibilities' of winning the race?
