Louis said at today's press conference that he wants Rebecca to win. The stakes are far too high to allow any judge with no singers left to be independent so what that means is Simon wants Rebecca to win. Although actually we have already been told this from everything Simon has said about Rebecca.
There’s been a surge for her since Saturday on most indicators. She’s equal with him in this new poll started since Saturday:

Importantly it’s not from a fansite, and it does have a large vote although it’s not stated. I’ve been following it and people are constantly voting on it.
But anyway polls are often undermined by the “who deserves to win factor” – often a handsome young male will be kept in a competition till the end by the female voters, but then a change happens at the end when they think more about the final vote – less who enchants them and more who is the best singer, which according to virtually all musicians who have commented is Rebecca, and maybe more importantly (for those who can at least sing excellently) - who is the nicer person.
Her 3 songs are knockout and Matt has tonsillitis, just yesterday he wasn’t able to sing properly.
Expect Simon to slate Matt and ramp Rebecca, he needs her to be his ambassador, Matt is rebellious and just wants to sing the dirge he writes himself.

think is, public are well aware Matt is sick. It is actually helping in a perverse way. The women aged 24 to 74 are full of sympathy. As long as Matt gives "110%" as they say on MOTD, its enough.. he does not need to outsing Rebecca with viral tonsilitis.

With half a voice he'd be a better singer than rebecca so there really is nothing to worry about. Matt has a fantastic voice and his range is incredible. I've met about 1000 Rebecca's over the years. She's just 'quite good'. |

You don't need musicians or other experts to find out wether Rebbecca is a good singer or not. Use your ears.
When people actually use there ears instead of being told what to hear you will find she is cheese. Some love her. Some can take her or leave and some cannot stand her. |

It's not easy being the X Factor boyband So finally this hysterical and largely talent-free series of X Factor comes to a close. It's taught us one thing though: never tip a group to win. Groups can't compete with individuals. Obviously it's not about talent or commercial possibility, it's about connecting. And with five of them, there's no personal narrative, no ups and down, no "journey". Of course, the little girl vote might come out hard for One Direction, but show insiders tell us Matt's been walking it |

Why have you got any green on Matt? You're making it sound like the prices should be the other way round, so you can't truly believe what you're typing. IF you are right though, and they deramp Matt and give Becca the VIP then course, she'll hack up, in a fair fight I'd be amazed if she won, and if Matt is given any preference it's curtains. as a negative for rebecca fans it might also suggest where the 'floating' or transfer votes
will go, i.e. u would expect a lot of mary's to go to her but if (as is looking more likely imo) one direction go before her theirs would more than likely go to matt |

I think it's a weak argument personally, the one solid aspect is the bit about Matt's illness, that's a real concern.
The rest of it is mostly supposition. I've been reading about Matt being nobbled since the lives began. Still yet to see any real evidence of it happening. |
