STILL waiting for the big NOTW story that was coming out about him and Lloyd at it together. That was about 55 - 60 weeks ago and STILL no story. All c0bblers again with people making up nonsense.

But to humour you, the reason the NOTW story was not published is probably a) there was no evidence, b) no interest in it after the contest and c) it was almost certainly untrue! But that doesn't mean that the rumour mongers didn't influence viewers opinions of Danyl. Of course it will have done. |

I wouldn't mind if it was a silly little rumour a bit like the Matt ones we've had on here but because he was gay to say he was having it away with young Lloyd is just pure make believe. I of course was about the only one who didn't believe it on here and has anything come out about it in over 12 months ....... NO. |

Lou - surely you agree that a rumour doesn't have to be true to have an impact. Otherwise we wouldn't have libel and slander laws.
In this particular case, we can but surmise that 90% of right minded people gave the story short shrift and the contempt it deserved. But of the remaining impressionable 10%? The Red Tops wouldn't sell a single copy if it were not for the salacious gossip and celebrity tittle-tattle - the vast majority of which is not true. It doesn't stop people lapping it up. And like it or not, mud sticks... |

the rumour from last year got brushed under the carpet due to the ages of people involved and their public sexual orientations (the press don't out people any more, especially schoolkids). whie i wasn't present and don't have video evidence, the people who told me it was true are the kind of people who would know if was true.
