She maybe the outsider of the final four but she is deffo the most likely to break into the US market!!

It baffles me why so many people feel so threatened or just dislike a 17 girl.
Because thats what Cher is. And Lou and a few others are showing temselves up with their bitter remarks. All she needs is taking to 1 side and given a good talking to. And she will end up making you lot look a right bunch of tits. Because she is the only talent there that has real potential. The others have no chance of cracking the US market,fact. |

I agree with you about Cher and I hate the opprobrium that is directed against her. It is just plain mean. However, not only are we in a minority and only does our view not matter one scintilla, but more importantly the negative perceptions of Cher that we read on here are, I suspect, reflective of the wider view of the watching millions. And here's the rub - the winner will not be decided by talent, potential in America or the best singer - the winner will be the person who is most popular with the voters. |

Spot on LG. It IS a popularity contest, as much as a singing contest, after all...
However, in this particular instance I would say quite categorically that there are at least four better singers left in the competition that are better than Cher - Matt, Rebecca, Liam and Harry. Sorry, but that's just the truth. Her personality doesn't come into it, although that certainly doesn't help! |
