In all seriousness he must be in a bit of trouble back home by now.
Even if he wasn't 100% sure there would be a sing-off, he must have known it was at least possible.
Yet he assured the Irish people it was PV whilst urging them to vote Mary.
It's pretty clear he knew all along she'd have to be voted Top 3 to be safe.
Maybe he thought he had to convince people she only had to beat Cher, to make sure they voted in high numbers?
He's still made fools of a lot of people..
