Can't tell anything from that audio I'm afraid Lou, maybe somebody using a better phone has posted somewhere, or maybe the recording of that guy with the broadcast camera is somewhere? itv.com?
I would be interesting to hear how Matt sounded at the 5 Bells, but he sounds almost dead from that recording. |

Yes awful recording from a phone I'd imagine but at least he sang it. He's got a few days still so fingers crossed he'll be back to his best. I'm sure there'll be a better quality recording though somewhere. |

This is a much better quality link. His voice goes at 2.30 so it's obviously still not quite right.

He’s got a great voice. I didn’t think so at the start of the competition but I had listened to all his own material which is unoriginal, I was judging him as a songwriter and not as a singer as I should have been.
But be HONEST Lou, his flu is still messing him up awfully. (I’m as green on him almost as Rebecca but even if I was only green on him I find it more useful to explore arguments against my choice). |

I thought he did it well apart from when he completely lost as I pointed out at 2.30. With a few more days though fingers crossed he'll be back to full potential. I was quoting someone from the youtoob link by the way. |

After 2.30 he never got it together again, he didn't even try to sing the words (the short time after 2.30 gave him a deep voice that was an interesting change). Worse than Saturday. I think it's important info you've provided (but opposite from your intention Lou.
Actually we are in the same boat, we have Matt greens we don't want wasted. (Ideally I'd like to see Matt and Rebecca alternating odds on / odds off but it doesn't look likely at least not until, and if, they are Final 2). |
