it's perhaps understandable to have a sing-off last week with 7 contestants still in, but this week with 5 remaining?  does anyone really think this year has not been a complete fix?

is anyone surprised though?

The thing that's so bizarre  about this is that Cowell must have known what he was likely to unleash with this and yet did it anyway. A couple of papers are already crying fix and it has the potential to cause a bit of a media storm.

All publicity, good pubicity? Not in this instance methinks.

If American media gets wind, claiming the x-factor's a fixed version of A-Idol, Cowell's American dream could be over before it's begun.

American's can kill shows more easily than we can.
