Obviously a worry over Matt

One thing getting a bye with 4 or 5 weeks left to go, another getting a bye in the semi final into the final. It would ruin his chance either way, as he wouldn't win if getting a bye, however he probably will sing I reckon.

Yes tricky one isn't it.  If he can't sing at all it would seem harsh to just drop him out specially when Diana got a bye albeit a few rounds further back. If he gets a bye then yes possibly people could think 'ere that's a bit strong a bye into the final'.  Awkward situation all round.

Reckon he'll sing, so it probably won't be an issue - he didn't look all that 'ill' in the photos I've seen this week.

A 'photo' though can hardly tell the story with someone's voice!  I'm just hoping that there's only been one actual instance where the act has actually dropped out so he's well enough to put in a least a half decent performance so mixed with a bit of sympathey he'll go through.

Would it suit your book that he goes out stu?  He's my only green, large red on all the rest bar Rebecca who I'm 'levels you devils' on.

because surely it would have been announced by now if he wasnt going to sing..

plus he was smoking a far a few days ago.. if he was really that bad its highly unlikely that he would make things worse by smoking..

these stories are just the usual tabloid/ dailymail tripe.. and Cowells publicity machine doing overtime..

Smoking is addictive. It may be serious or hype, we don't know.

this is all just convenient publicity for the show.. anything that gets the public talking about the show will be used..

basically all he has to do lou is go on stage and attempt to sing and his faithful fans will vote for him, but agree with bardo that it's blown out of all proportion.

Bad news from X Factor HQ. Matt can barely speak and has stopped in practice four times. He's upset so has been given a room to sleep in.

if he doesn't sing the tabloids will have a field day with that smoking picture.
