Yeah GTL saw that but she was deffo rooting for 1D and seemed reluctantly giving a mention to Rebecca. I think to avoid looking as though she wasn't seeing her as a threat; which of course she is to her.

All the people who shared house with her loved her, all the professional insiders adore her, no murky stuff from her past. I just don't believe that in the final analysis there will be such a disconnect between all this and the GBP. Just doesn't compute.

GB - moreover for me is her price compared to 1 D. Simply doesn't add up in any which way or form. The right edit on the night, a favourable duet and she comes over as the perfect antithesis to the XF machiavellian antics that have characterised this series (for me anyway).
Removing the talent aspect completely, it's the perfect happy ever after story of the good girl next door and down to earth Mum wins out over the Bad Boy Matt, the Cowell puppet-boys and the she-devil Cher. Maybe I'm way off the mark here, but I've always held this view. I've levelled out my book considerably to green up on Matt and break even 1D. I've a feeling I may regret it, but Rebecca's still my healthiest green. Here's hoping... |

Personally I just can't see them getting their share of the 16m votes to win this. Their teen fans vote will be blown away by middle class middle aged middle england vote. |
