Seems it is Britney Spears' Stronger. Has this been posted already? Seems a strange choice but there you go. Who will Cowell want to sing it?
Oh and Cheryl is definitely getting the USA XF job. £3m. And I'm sure we are all very pleased for her.

Yes, not confirmed but seems it could be it. Bizarrely if you go to telly mix site they give this info then say click on you tube link below to hear the song. Trouble is song is aggro santos and kimberley walsh!

To me it would say he accepts the winner could well be Matt but it's geared to be a good choice for Cher and 1d and with rebecca and mary clearly an afterthought in the selection process |

In theory though a man could sing any 'woman's' song and vice versa. You just have to up/down the key so it's within their range. Obviously if the lyrics are too obvious you can't but even then they just get changed from he/she, him to her etc.

there are a variety of covers on you tube - male and female, rock versions, acoustic versions, etc., so it does seem to be pretty adaptable. Most of them are utter gash tho.

Matt Cardle has said that he wants to write his own material rather than do covers after The X Factor. The ex-painter and decorator is on a "collision course" with Simon Cowell, according to The Mirror, because the SyCo boss is already arranging a potential winner's single for the 27-year-old. "I want as much control over my career and debut album as possible," said Cardle last week. "I wouldn't do covers as I want to write my own stuff. We'd come to some agreement I'm sure." However, a show source warned that Dannii Minogue's act may end up in trouble if he doesn't step in line. "Simon respects Matt as an artist and he doesn't want to stifle his creative side, but that certainly doesn't mean he is going to give him free rein to release whatever song he wants," said the insider. "When it comes down to it, all Simon cares about is selling as many singles as possible and getting the Christmas No.1. If that means making Matt sing a cover, then that's what's going to happen... If he wants to truly be a success he will have to learn that Simon's the boss and what he says goes." |
