Not mad. Doubtful she'll be bottom, but could be right down there. Odds not really reflecting this imo

She looks fantastic. But she is starting to be boring and stiff. She can't win it if she doesn't start to move.

i think she has a great voice and seems really nice but there's nothign really about her to make people part with there money and call in really on a show like this when everyone else is getting the headlines etc,, doesnt seem to have a personality that shines out, ive backed her to go tonight , think she could be in bottom 3 , doubt judges will vote her off though

She's massively overrated. Seems to have one the the 'en vogue' Amy Winhouse-type whiney voices which sounds awful IMO.

Rubbish.

Mr Hindsight told me to say yes you would be mad to think that Meat.

I've been to her 'class' for 9 weeks now and haven't learnt much to be honest.  She could win it by all means but not for me.

Apart from Teardrops and the Beatles disaster, she has been brilliant. Everybody you talk to, mentions her or Matt and the market totally reminds me of Leona's year.

Her voice is so distinctive when she's on her game and I genuinely love her voice. I know most of you guys on here couldn't care less about the acts in the show as it is purely a money-making exercise (for me too) but she is Great.

As usual with Rebecca when I play them back online they seem even better to me. She just has nuances that Matt doesn't have. Might still be game on.

Fair enough you could well be right.  I don't think she's been 'brilliant' at all once yet and just so so most weeks.  Different opinions, we'll beg to differ.

Yeah George I love that Stones number from last night, really cool feel to itCool Also "Why don't you do it right" is still outstanding and frequently played here!

Problem is is she too subtle for the audience Speculation. That's not meant to be snobbish/elitist. Matt fits the bill for this better probably though he has a very limited shelf life in my view and the yanks won't want to now.

Someone once said nobody ever lost a fortune by underestimating public taste.

Sometimes even when you lose a bet you know you were really on the winner.

Good point well made George. I am 326 on Matt & 411 on Bex (403 1D) so financially it makes little difference to me, but she is the only World Class act there and it is a distinct possibility she can be manoeuvered into a winning position with a real one-off performance[:D]

fwiw teardrops was one of my favouritesShocked

Stones number was great - but she's still lacking that killer performance.

I'm in a similar situation to you Spec - though I'm topping up on Matt with every week that passes.  He's the one they all have to beat now.

Time running out for the killer performance but I'm sure she has it in her. Front runners often lose this so here's hoping. Opposite to IAC for some reason where fav usually cruises in.

Laying Wagner means I'm all green with Rebecca and for some reason Cher as my biggest greens. Can't see how Cher can win this so will trade at some point.

Your book looks fine to me.

rebecca is different classs ! to those who criticise her lack of movement did ella fitzgerald, aretha franklen dionne warrwick, gladys knight, & a host of other singing greats prance & dance around ? did they b*****ks !

But they did something! Walk from one side of the satge even to the other at least that would be something.  She's just stood glued to the spot almost and barely even moves her hands.

Leave Lou alone he's just having a crisis of confidence over Le Chapeau. I wouldn't want to be looking at red on my screen re Rebecca either Lou.

I see Matt is now dissing Cher because she quite rightly rejected the awful styling of Matt's ex/girlfriend. Not long before the mr nice guy mask slips. This is the same stylist who put him in that awful vest and made katie wear a helmet. Gissa job, I can do that.

Oh are they having a go at me again?  I see.  Oh well they have nothing better to do and if Papa's one of them he just can't stand it that I'm on the winner right from the very start ............. AGAIN.

But the doubts are starting to creep in Lou methinks. I think itsa classic case of him peaking too early.

Lots of tweets now suggest all to play for in the Matt/Rebecca face off in the final.

Missed it myself but twitter full of Biffa's look of surprise when Rebecca announced as safe. Anyone else spot it? Will watch back.

George

Yes I noticed she looked surpised when Rebecca was callled but it must have been close all round with most people guessing almost anyone might have been bottom 3.  Just relieved she was through I think.

According to the market George Matt's shortening even more.  8/11 now.

hmmmmmmmmm

Then that means Rebecca will drift making it cheaper for you to green up on her.

Someone has just asked whether your reference to Matt as being the winner is a fact or an opinion...I think we should be told Laugh
By:
LOU MACARIS TARTAN B

It's an opinion obviously but I do really THINK he's won it and by a long way.

Fair enough we can only see how things pan out but if you fancy her over him what a lovely price/lay it is for you.
By:
George Bailey
When: 29 Nov 10 12:12
I do A1 but fortunately they split open and all was revealed [;)]

I'm as green on her as I can afford Lou though I intend to get greener by trading 1D and Cher. Can't see point of laying matt as Rebecca only serious challenger.

LOU MACARIS TARTAN B

Yes I'm taking it that Cher and Mary just won't win but even there you never know I suppose.
By:

Mary can't win and Cher could make final three.
By:

someone tell lou, i'm not begrudging him being on the likely winner, i'm highlighting his utter hypocrisy that he bangs on and on and on and on and on about it being a singing competition, then criticises rebecca for not moving around the stage.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

actually, don't bother.  i can't believe how ridiculous it is that i'm asking someone to pass on a message to that childish cretin.
