No show that involves pop music has any credibilty.

Agreed. What the show needs to retain that credibility is somebody young, in tune with the ZEITGEIST, ballsy, boasting an encyclopedic knowledge of hip hop, with rapping performance skills, lethal dance moves and a complementary singing voice.
