No, its cause those odds on Matt backers have realise that there are still 2 more weekends to go and he may still have a bad performance or Cowell ramps up One Direction with a duet with Take That/JLS on the final show.

he's been ramping one direction up from the start.......not doing much good.there's just no chemistry there and the public can see through it.same old sh1te from them....the blonde kid starts then rory mccilroy has a go then amir khan joins in...then it just merges into one sound and then they do that hunched up dance and then it ends.........then matt comes on and shows them how it's done.

even if by some freak miracle that wagner were somehow to make it to the final i think that the overwhelming majority of people would still vote for matt or whoever else over him..
it would do real damage to the shows credibility if this years joke act wild card were to win it |

Did Cowell ever not want Matt? No need to over ramp him as his voice speaks for itself he's seeing the others fall away. Never said a bad word about Matt but what's he actually done wrong since it started? Very good second song showstopper again last night. |

Amazingly, Wagner was 13 when the show finished. Then, when a double elimination was announced - which surely magnifies his chances of going - he comes into 9!!! Weirdest price trend in a long time? |

Many things will have persuaded Cowell on Matt last night, but he can be absolutely certain of seeing off waggy if he backs him. And I think waggy has finally started to worry him I'll go a step further than fig, 1.4 shot for me (as I said last night to be fair) Breezes through the semi, and just has to repeat the warbling in final to get to that price. Then I might green up a bit I guess |

i get the impression cowell quite fancied rebecca winning, but she has proved disappointing, and he thinks the safe option is matt. see him at his best, singing baby one more time, and he has got a beautiful distinctive voice. crucially a bit more personality than rebecca too |
