Post on Popbitch    (thanks to AM)

They posted Joe was creaming the vote last year iirc

And maybe poured cold water on the Jedward doing well theories last year too?

Don't tell Lou what else they say ;-)

He doesn't like these rumour things....

deejay - ignore lou, he's clueless when it comes to interpreting the press.

on x factor stories, a generally good rule of thumb is always listen to the star, never listen to the sun.  not sure about popb1tch, but according to GB they have a good record, so probably worth listening to.
Report GeorgeBrush November 25, 2010 4:55 PM GMT
Figgy will probably remember better than me.

I certainly remember they are one to watch
Report Benjy November 25, 2010 5:00 PM GMT
Didn't the sun go with a similar story about Jedward doing really well in the votes shortly before they were eliminated?
Report deejayric November 25, 2010 5:00 PM GMT

The week before they were b2 iirc Benjy?

Survived a couple of weeks after that

I'd beleive popbitch over the sun.

The campaign is just starting to kick in now though.

Waggy!

I would think Popbitch have got it right.  Can't say I'm surprised.  Did anyone really believe he has never been out of the top three?  Sounds a bit too far fetched to me.  He's had enough support to keep him from being eliminated obviously, but now we're into the 'business end' of the show, I cannot see him mustering enough support to win.  He's been great entertainment though.

Report stringerbell November 25, 2010 6:44 PM GMT
thing is i doubt anyone is leaking figures and i doubt popbitch have any true info, though generally i would find them much more credible than a tabloid, even though they have far less to lose in terms of libel/defamation...
Report LOU MACARIS TARTAN B November 25, 2010 7:42 PM GMT
How come 'The Daily Star' have been so quite this year.  They gave out something about 4 weeks back but nothing since.  Why would that be?
Report jack12321 November 25, 2010 7:50 PM GMT
Top 3 of the voting was always a laughable suggestion. First few weeks must've scraped through by the smallest of margins.

Wot fll said though, it's only just kicking in :) We know how much the vote can fluctuate from week to week...

Even the Star has to stay on the right side of Cowell Lou

Thought you weren't interested anyway? [;)]
Report LOU MACARIS TARTAN B November 25, 2010 8:33 PM GMT
George

I'd be interested of course.  Just don't understand if they do have this 'source' as many believe they do then why nothing at all has come out bar one thing I believe a few weeks ago?
Report GeorgeBrush November 25, 2010 8:39 PM GMT
Following previous patterns to be honest. It's never been a case of a story every week

Last year only two iirc and a hint that Joe was p1ssing it late on?
Report LOU MACARIS TARTAN B November 25, 2010 8:56 PM GMT
Oh I see fair enough.  What was the none they said a few weeks ago again I can't remember it now?

About 5k red here now

Blimey and I can't wait to get rid of him!

Can't see him winning.  You never know he might survive this week though.

I think he will
Report LOU MACARIS TARTAN B November 25, 2010 10:47 PM GMT
Bit of a lottery obviously but I think if it's two to go he really is in trouble as even if he's not automatically out he can't survive the sing off surely.  One to go ........... could be Katie?

Report GeorgeBrush November 29, 2010 4:36 PM GMT
I'm not convinced foul play wasn't employed

Either way, he was never ever going to win
Report George Bailey November 29, 2010 4:38 PM GMT
Stakes too high for foul play. All those voting "scandals" usually surface and if their was a trail back to cowell he'd be finished.
Report GeorgeBrush November 29, 2010 4:40 PM GMT

In reality all they would have to do would be to say the wrong piece of paper was handed to Turbot
