I reckon the time is right for these Scottish legends of song to return to the programme they made their own a few years back, and claim their rightful throne.
They were unlucky to come up against Leona Clegg the year she won it, but mark my words, only a fool would write them off.
There's little doubt in my mind that The McDougall Brothers Express will be leaving for Station 1.01 soon, and the massed ranks of the Brownies of Bigwillie and Smallwillie will be given the day off to greet them.
