i simply cannot see why she should be so big at 2.48

her best chance of survival is a sing off save (even though a 5th would be unlikely) against wagner or cher or mary, but there is a big chance of a double eviction, which means next eviction mat well be lowest vote.

who could possibly vote lower than katie

wagner - v unlikely
mary - poss pimp slot, ireland mobilised, unlikely too
cher - sure to get big bounce

the big three, surely surely not

2.48 looks like the bet of the series to me.

all conflicting views most welcome...

Your making assumptions based on the fact Katie will be in the bottom three. I think she is sparkling with confidence and this will reflect her next performance.Katie has managed to engage a larger percentage of votes, she is certainly rising in the competition, this only leaves room for other contenders to fall. The nerves are getting to the other contenders where as Katie has already become immune with all the controversy that has been circulating her. My predictions are: Rebecca, Wagner and Cher in the bottom three.

Mentality its either a factual opinion or an opinionated fact. Either way vote not she's bottom.

Unfortunately factual opinions or opinionated facts still conclude as an opinion

If we are being serious then by definition a pronouncement of something that hasn't yet happened is an opinion e.g. the sun will rise tomorrow cannot be a fact however likely it is to happen.

This forum would be incredibly tedious if after every comment we had to put "imo".

Personally I can't believe that some bookies were going 4/1 and 9/2 when the prices were issued first thing on Monday.

That looked an absolute steal.  I agree with the OP - there are doubts about who will join her, but I still make Katie a shoo-in for the bottom two.

The public simply don't like her - without the pimp slot, image change and PR guff she'll be back down in the sing off.

9/2 Katie to go first Dizzy...I'd have knocked people down in the rush.

Two songs = lost in the mix = toast

That's going to be an important factor this weekend - two songs will make all the difference.

For the same reason I can't believe the price of Wagner.  Surely unsustainable...

there we go, all going to plan

recommend you mop up any odds against

judges cant save her this time

I think with the judges knowing the importance of the order and having no other influence on who will be bottom of the votes, the order of singing this weekend will be done according to who they desperately want to go.  From this juncture onwards last year Joe was heavily favoured with comments, order and song choices, same with Alexandra the previous year. One act will go close to evens after Saturday when it becomes apparent who the chosen act is to ramp mercilessly, my gut feeling and fear is that One Direction are the chosen act.

Couldn't dissagree more with Mentality.

She isn't reaching a greater audience because of her performance last week, her surviving was simply down to..

1. Her recieving the pimp slot which is pretty much a cert to guarentee you safety even if you're the most hated contestant.

2. Every other act that night being awful!

She is still the least liked in there, Cher will definately be getting a late slot this week and will recieve a bounce back of votes, Wagner is going nowhere, Mary will be on late, Katie SHOULD be on early seeing as she's just had the pimp slot.

Must admit, this looks value.

Mary, Cher. Frankly Nick

I think Waggy's a decent-sish lay, but don't see this massive value you do
By:
stringerbell
When: 26 Nov 10 20:56
oh georgie, with your record this series i was hoping you'd agree

though i agree mary and cher are the only dangers, and will hedge accordingly. don't think frank will be bottom two

I may agree after the songs nick. I've never made any of those predictions midweek

on the downside i think what's going on will be good for her, but i cant see anyone voting lower. i see her being lowest by a long long way....
