Rebecca is on a different level, but belief in herself thats the key, probably at 70% of her true ability, the rest are flat out. Would really just love her to come on stage and have a little fun with herself. Eruptions I cant stand the rain is what this girl is needing, just get out there and have a bit of fun.

So ypi honestly think rebecca is "miles ahead of Matt"?

See what i mean everyone reading this.  He has his opinion of course and he may well be right she may be the best but to say she's "miles clear of Matt" is just a blatant lie.  That's what you have to put up with on here, blatant ridiculous statements like that.

LOU - as a singer in the modern music scene, i think she is miles ahead of matt.  and yes that is my HONEST opinion.

in fact, to say that she ISN'T miles ahead of matt in terms of a place in the modern music industry is a blatant lie and a ridiculous statement.

"make you feel my love" was brilliant.  spine tingling and comfortably performance of the series for me.  wicked game also excellent.

yesterday was crap though.  it's a sh!te song however, so wasn't shocked by that, more surprised that her singing wasn't too hot.

an upbeat duffy track like mercy could work well, although with it being rock week, not much change of that!

I have just been told by someone who knows Rebecca that she has desperately wanted to do uptempo songs but they wont let her....why not?

Don't know.  She needs a boost and change of direction (no pun intended) so i think she should just insist 'I want to sing such and such'.

I once posted a Sunday paper article quoting Aiden where he said he was fed up with the moody/intense songs he was being given and wanted to show viewers a different side to him but he said you're just given your song and that's that.

Here's a summary of it from Metro

X Factor: Aiden Grimshaw blames Dannii Minogue for intense image

Aiden Grimshaw fears his chances of winning The X Factor are being hampered by Dannii Minogue's song choices.

The teenager has been criticised by Cheryl Cole for being too intense after performing Mad World, a bizarre version of Thriller and Nothing Compares 2 U.

Some viewers seem to agree with the judge, as Aiden has lost his early status as a favourite to win the series and is now a 25/1 outsider.

He also believes Cheryl has a point, but told the News of the World he had been restricted by Dannii's choice of downbeat songs.

'I'm sick of being the intense one. I like to have a laugh and have fun - but that's just not coming across. They give you the songs so there's nothing you can do,' said Aiden.

He added that he has asked Dannii to give him more upbeat tracks to perform so he can show a different side to his character.

An X Factor insider said Dannii would be 'livid' about Aiden's comments, as they would give rival judges ammunition to criticise her.

She does come across as a lovely girl but surely she can say to them I'd like to sing something a bit more upbeat to show a different side to me.  I bl00dy would!

Fair enough then what can she do.  I think it must go on though because to use last week for instance, of all the hundreds of classic Beatles songs Matt gets 'Come Together'.  We've all got our opinions but that's surely hardly one of the better ones and when we heard he was singing it pretty much all agreed it was an awful song.  Me included.

suppose you have to have forum characters or fall guys. i am tennis 99 per cent and on the tennis forum we have guys like darlington leeds, tornado and rome who receive 99 per cent of the forum's oppobrium. some deserve it, some don't, guess that's the name of the game. i just think lou is relatively harmless.

gb, on another note, how good is this jordan henderson. lots of hype, england debut etc, is he all he is cracked up to be

I find Rebecca boring.

Same old stuff every week.

It's time she let her hair down ( literally ), put on some clothes that suit her age more and dance around the place a bit.
