I have a bit of a laugh on the main thread when the tourists are around, but also best not to 'gloat' as things tend to come back and bite you on the bum.

Generally I'm not a trader, GB. With xf it's pick the one or two that will appeal to the voters (imo), then progress through the weeks playing the surrounding markets.

This year I went for Matt and 1d. 1d as I thought Liam would have been a runner by himself, and it seemed pretty clear tptb were going to push them.

I'm out of 1d now. They are getting a shedload of help but as a group won't get middle-aged women vote I don't believe.

If Rebecca does something that makes me think that she can win, I have no qualms with punting her and posting about it, but she hasn't as yet. Cowell likes her, so what, he liked Dan and he likes Katie.

Aside from the [chosen one] argument, which is debatable, I cannot understand why Rebecca has traded as low as 2.6.

Rebecca needs to choose her own songs as she is being let down by her mentor,she has a fantastic voice and its not being allowed to reach its potential for some strange reason.

Well put but hardly a bad thing to have Rebecca blown out of the water.  She was awful and all her backers know it.  Seven attempts now and been fairly good/good at best every week apart from last night's calamity.  When she saidto Dermot "I was out of my comfort zone because I had to walk from the back of the stage to the front" Well.

I think she was very poor honest i do.  matt's off week was about three weeks ago when he still did a decent performance of the song.  That last night apart from Wagner obviously was the worst of all the contestants.  You need to be straight with yourself.  Your 'teams' got beat 4-0 don't say they were unlucky!

Lou,i just watched it again and i honestly dont think it was that bad,a few bad notes but she pulled it back in the second half and there was some lovely notes too.

Really hasn't done it for me once yet.  I appreciate I don't know some of the songs especially if they're post 1976! but bshe's just 6.5/10,  7/10 every week for me which isn't good enough. I think Cher has the potential of the two to do better.

I don't think Matt's due a pimp slot for two or three weeks (hoping he'ss till there) but Rebecca had hers last week and Matt went in the coffin box last night.  Rebecca still has that to come!
