Firstly I think it was the worst week as a whole since it started so I'll mark most of them down.  I think it's because you miss the excitement of the band playing live with all those great harmonies.  McCartney's sheer enthusiasm, Lennon's bouncing up and down on the spot, they were the greatest band ever and it just doesn't come across singing to click tracks.  I love just about every beatles song ever made but only liked a couple of performances tonight.

Here goes with marks out of 10:

MATT:  The coffin slot going first but he's got it out of the way now.  Thought he did well with a dirge of a song.  Belted it out, moved a bit which was a pleasent change and made the most of it.  Can't fault his vocal but such a poor song to sing.  7

REBECCA:  Oh dear by far the worst she's done since the series started.  You backers may not want to admit it but I think bar Wagner the worst of the night.  Another ballad for her that she actually sang out of tune in parts.  Dull, dreary performance. Her worst by a long way.  Poor  5.5

CHER:  Not great again.  I agree she should have started on the stairs sitting down then perhaps moved about and beefed it up a bit in the second half of the song.  Never sang a duff note but just not great at all.  Classic song, average performance.  6

PAIJE:  Another great song that he did well enough.  I think the choir helped at the end from a spectacle point of view but just so so again. He can sing though.  6.5

ONE D:  Didn't like it.  To take a Beatles sing along anthem and speed it up was a big mistake.  Once again just two singers (maybe 3) and the others just standing there.  You wouldn't speed up 'Hey Jude' would you?  Poor again. 6

MARY:  The star of the show.  belted out a Beatles classic which was the Shirley Bassey version and got it off to a tee.  We know she can sing and she proved it again tonight.  Well done Mary.  8

WAGNER:  The problem is with him is that he sings every week in too low a key.  He's singing out of his boots.  He sounds like Lee Marvin when he did 'I Was born under a Wandrin' Star'.  He just about sang the right notes for that key but it's so low it sounds awful.  He's just rubbish every week and it's time to go.  4

KATIE:  The judges are completely lying when they say that was good.  Sings most of the notes in tune but just no quality to her voice at all.  She's just not a good singer.  Good song choice but very very average singer that you'll find better in every Karaoke bar in town without a doubt.  5.5

Over and out.
