They aren't doing Help! - Katie is.
OD have All You Need Is Love. |

OOooops back to drawing board. Help will sound bad for Katies for the below reaons.
All you need is love is also a group song and also depends heavily on harmonies. It will also sound very bad sung in unison. |

most of what you hear when One D are on comes thru the backing track anyway
relentless ramping from Cowell with this pile of sh!t act |

I think two of them appear to be ok when singing but the others just making up the numbers. I've said before they scour the whole country for the best new act about and the best they can come up with is One Direction. Surely not. |

I have had a horrible thought Simon can have a backing group doing the harmonies. Why not? all that 1D have to do is stand around looking like 15 year old boys and have the media tell the 12 year girls that they are gorgeous and you have seroius and with Simons backing maybe inviciible contenders.
Sorry about the rubbish post I neeed to shut up about 1 D as I do not know ( Thank God) what I am talking about. |

Wand Erection are pants, 3 of them are ordinary at best, Liam is half decent but lacks range and although Harry is good he cannot carry the rest.
But if Cowell keeps up the backing singers in the backing track and the high level of production and Cowell ramps galore then they really could be a force. I am not a fan of Matt and even though Lou would be even more unbearable than he already is I would much much rather see him win than that shower of shiite. In fact I would rather Paige or even the vile Cher as the winner. This has nothing to do with my book as if Rebecca doesn't win then I lose roughly the same whoever else wins. |

Do you think they are much cop though? Thought they were the best they've done last week but really in Matt's league, Rebecca's? |

I think they have a chance and the curly haired one the pick of the bunch but I think it's easier to like perhaps an individual singer (whoever that may be) rather than a group of five. Can see why a group's never won ....... well so far!

If JLS couldn't win in a poor year, what chance have these got?
|
|
By:
the JLS we saw during the XF were very different to the JLS we have seen since. They were quite old fashioned in their suits and with their dance routines more along the lines of The Four Tops or The Drifters than something current. They were also treated as a bit of a joke being mentored by Louis.
However, they had a bit of momentum towards the end, especially after being in the B2 which seemed to help their vote and imo had they received the full SCowell "treatment" instead of Alex they could have ended up winning. If Brookstein hadn't forgotten his words and Sharon Osbourne didn't have her tantrum, the first winner of XF could easily have been a group. |

rooting for that awful boy band
I amaze myself at how aften I hopelessly wrong. Could sing could dance had a charismatic leader. All tosh. I fancied the over 27 singer just before he got the boot too. Please do not mention Andrew Garcia. I have had a bad year and I do not seem to learn. But I have a great time falling off my runners. At least you can't break bones and I never risk more than I can happily give away. |
