Watched Rebecca againn on you tube and she just gets classier every time I look. Judges house will.i.am called her a "superstar". Matt can't "do" America. Rebecca can. Where will cowell throw his support? Go figure.

Why can Rebecca do America but matt can't?

I think men find it harder to cross the atlantic Lou. Matt is too similar to what they already have e.g. last 2 US idol winners.

I just think Rebecca is genuine class and class crosses borders. I can jus see her on Oprah or similar and US falling in love with her. All Matt's slagging off of others isn't a class thing to do; its what mere mortals do.

It's a poignant, emotional song - might not bring her to the forefront but I think it's a 'moment' sort of song - at least SC could easily convince the audience that it was a 'moment' for her.

Mikeey, Because Ganny's vote much more than 'trendy' 18-30 types.

I suspect Candle in the wind went down much better with actual voters than it did with 'trendy' internet opinion.
