that's actually a good point HF.  if it's a double, then we need to remember we're betting 100% on the public vote.

i think i'd be a backer at 7/1 though - although hard to get involved on wagner before the performance.  if they want rid now, all they need to do is give him a ballad to sing, with a low-key production and an early slow, and the joke will soon tire for his supporters.

i may be wrong but i think people are underestimating the impact this campaign for him could have. if they keep it up or even crank it up i think he will go lot further than people would ever dream possible. he will be fine this week, this week is the week katie's head will finally roll and good riddance.
i guess it is impossible to say as we dont know how many are behind this wagner campaign and how many times they all vote but the fact they've kept him away from the bottom two so far suggests to me that they can do it for a fair while longer yet

of the remaining 8 contestants, only katie has ever been in the bottom 2 - so you could say that about any of them tk486.

With a double eviction he has to get more votes than THREE other people or they get the chance to get rid of him which I can assure you they will take.

can see him getting more than paije, weasel and A N Other, unfortunately without figures we just dont know how powerful this campaign is but my choice is that it is very powerful and will propel him far in the comp with support increasing the further he gets as people come round to the "wouldnt it be hilarious if we won" idea which will upset the purists "oh that awful man is ruining the show" but the rebels will become powerful and even cowell will think, im' probably sacking off x factor next year anyway so let's go out with something everyone will remember
