As the title probably hints at I thought this was a terrible week, in fact the worst so far, anyway I will try to be brief as most of it is barely worth commenting on.
Paige - As usual sang well but the song was about as unsuitable as it gets and he could easily be in trouble.
Aiden - I really like Aiden but I didn't like this at all, he was all over the place.
Mary - Karaoke in your front room, as ordinary as ordinary gets, unfortunately still probably safe.
Katie - Not very good but better than the three that went before her but still surely destined for the bottom 2.
Matt - Not as good as last week but better than the week before that. Song didnt suit his voice but on an evening like this still sounded good.
Cher - I dont like her but this was one of her better effortsand her softer image definitely worked for her.
Wagner - he wasn't as bad so therefore as funny as previous weeks or maybe his nonsense is wearing thin with me, his end is nigh if not this week then definitely next.
Wand Erection - The show was that bad tonight that even this shower of shiite sounded ok and ok is about as good as they get.
Rebecca - Sang well enough but you cannot win with this song, you cant change it so cannot make it your own, a waste of the pimp slot.
Pray to god they dont ever do an Elton week again.
And for that clueless mong Lou who says Elton isn't a good singer then how come no-one can ever sound as good singing one of his songs?

It was an awful week.
Paije - Usually reliable but set up with woeful staging and an awful song choice. He also seemed to realise what was happening. Aiden - Third early slot. I think he could be a Shock Bottom 2. Song was unrecognisable. Mary - Difficult to work out how she has gone from average to poor but will be safe. Katie - For all the talk, the judges are persisting with her. Thoroughly woeful. Matt - Decent but capable of much more. Cher - The collaboration was a joke. She has proven she can sing so why does she continue to annoyingly insert nonesense rap? Wagner - I actually liked him for the first time in a few weeks. He'll be safe and then gone in a double with Katie next week. One Direction - Best of the night. Significantly improved with Harry actually singing. Rebecca - Average. However, the song and slot required so much more. For all the support she seems to have, she is an even worse performer than Leona - has she even ever moved this series? So yes, it was an awful show! |
