Not at all, she's far from guaranteed to take the challenges on, imo.
By:
I think she will open short on Betfair and just drift each day when she gets on every viewers nerves, just a vacuous bint!
By:
I like the look of her.
An Essex TPT with a huge following already. Unless she's dreadful Top 3 or 4 looks a cert against this bunch. I've had one other bet. Here's a clue - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3hSDODDNs4 |
By:
nah helmuthian, she might be irritating but she is hilarious and quite seet in her stupidity, with a big following already from x factor. cracking 11.4 bet methinks

HF - Have you seen itv have released an official list now?
Just the 10. No Alison or Dom (for now) |
By:
fll nigel havers has no chance, vain wont get stuck in to tasks
wtf |
By:
stacey will win easily and prob getting more votes than any contestant ever....
By:
Lot's of middle aged women and older would beg to differ on that mach.
By:
Sorry, but only just seen this: Shaun Ryder
![]() someone stop me from backing him and losing big time ![]() |
By:
the only thing is that the people who appreciate hi would never vote on these shows would they
By:
I'd back him if this was channel 4
Unfortunately we are looking for the cheeky chappie / tart with heart mong factor here |
By:
that'll be Linford and Gillian then
By:
Ryder will be good tv, but I can't see him winning the hearts and the votes of the viewers as Bez did
By:
exactly - he cant speak
gb, fll, you with me on this monster stacey price |
By:
linford's a drug cheat, mckeith dissects poo, models never win, havers is too smarmy - anyway, men have won the last 3 and the producers will be v keen for a woman to win. gail porter was the threat but she's gone. this is buying money...
By:
Yep, I'm on @ 9/2 and 4/1
By:
did you get those prices, you're the only person i know who got anything on at them...well done
By:
I'm on Stacey btw, just that she doesn't strike me as guaranteed to 'take on the jungle', like Camilla who couldn't hack it. Many positives tho, that still made her a bet.
I've found Dom Joly very disappointing out of character, and of course Christie is a bit of a n0b. |
By:
thats the danger i suppose cider but the word is she is game, and you just know she will be truly hilarious tv. she might have the brain power of a ironing board but she is authentic
By:
You have to be quick nick :)
Dom is not going in, from the start anyway. He's very funny when I've heard him on 5 live, but has a smugness about him on tv. |
By:
authentically gormless, but charming
By:
i thought i was mate, but i tried to get some 4s at i think 365 and it changed in front of me, had to make do with 4.5 to 3.75. still think it's a great price

As soon as I saw the list one contestant stood out to me and some nice bookie offered me 9/1!
![]() Nigel Havers should be favourite for me! |
By:
Havers is a hard one to call. My instinct says he is too knowing and self aware to win this. On the other hand he is well educated and has the manners and charm to get the female vote. Seeing the toff chew wallaby willly while preserving a stiff upper lip should be tv gold.
Masks usually slip in these shows so the Enigma That Is Havers will be solved one way or another. |
By:
Similar sort of character to gorgeous george, who polled pitifully last series.
By:
Been contemplating this, but I'm not convinced by Solomon just yet
I will hang fire. You can usually pile into the winner at 2.0 after the first week anyway |
By:
i can see her price totally collapsing, like horse placing's credibility or lou's confidence in matt
By:
how many runners last year?
By:
Camp leader / morale keeper-upper often wins, and tbh I can't see her being that
This could equally subdue her as enhance Quite happy to wait |
By:
i think we're back to who will the producers want to win, and i am 100 per cent sure the will want a female, so even if she is subdued they will find ways to bring out her unique brand of amazing stupidity and essex gormlessness, which even i find strangely endearing
By:
Maybe nick, I certainly wouldn't be laying either at this price
It's a shocking field after all So many reasons to rule 90% of them out, but default winners don't usually work I fvcking hate her btw But she is ideal for this audience |
By:
ok love, your call
By:
Nick,
I think you have been watching yoo much X factor m8 [;)] I think on the whole that the producers have no axe to frind on IACGMOOH and usually give everyone a fair edit. Remember they have no financial income afterwards from the winner so they don't really care. Whoever wins over the middle age women wins usually in this. Also worth noting, 9 series and only two female winners. One who subsequently became known as a cocaine guzzling negligent mother and the other a banned from telly racist so if the producers were to manufacture a winner I think they would avoid females! ![]() |
By:
Is this the first of many Staceyisms? What is she say she is going to eat
![]() "And yes I might have to do some ridiculous things like eat Camel Toes but I think it’s going to be hilarious…I am sure I will go on a real journey.” |
By:
love that...
maybe i am reading too much into it but i dont think so. i think the success of the brand is all that matters to the producers and for the brand to look better it needs a female winner. i agree its not as important as x factor, but my point is that if they want someone to win they can push them, perhaps even more than x factor, as it is all about the edit. the whole program each night is an edit.... |

not true nice = boring = low viewing share nice will but under the radar contestants will not be seen,a good story needs a goody and a baddy, if they dont have what they need by fair means someone gets stiched up[;)] |
