When will we see Rebecca given a decent ballard? Can we assume immediate favoritism once this happens?

Why not Lou? The in-running market is sucker for this. At least you can trade up some lovely green?

"Notanothernoncompletelywhitefemalesingerwithahalfdecentvoice" theory I assume.

I don't trade the in running market if you mean whilst the show's on live.  I think a really good delivery would drop her odds and she is in with a chance but she's had three goes so far and nothing great come out IMO.

agreed she hasn't had the firework show yet. Mediocre songs so far but you can still see the class. I think Cowell is on board and probably holding her back for the time being. He doesn't need 1D to win. as for Matt...I think his price already reflects he will be in the final but I wonder about his high-pitch voice. I don't think he'll be getting the ballard slots like Leona, Alex & Joe.

I don't see that Rebecca being a black female should be an issue just because two of the previous winners have been.  I don't see her competing with Alexandra who is purely pop.  As for Leona - she has been the biggest X Factor success, so why wouldn't they like another Leona?

Why concern with Rebecca is that she is a single mother and may not be able to put in the time to undertake the PR work they will want from her if she won.

In the end the public picks the winner Mikeeey. Don't worry about that sort of stuff.

thanks for reminding me George - I forgot that the public decide!

On her first audition she had a lot of people with her, some or all I imagine would have been extended family who can always support.

When they show her little daughter she's so cute it can only help her.

Not meant to be patronising Mikeeey. There are lots of threads on here that go along with the Cowell/Svengali thing. If you don't subscribe to this theory what does your reference to kids and PR mean? Surely that Cowell and the "machine" won't want her.

Over to you.

Don't think it's ideal to a mother in this to be honest.  Only a slight hindrance but even if it's 1% it's 1% against her.

good point Henry - she's looking more like the winner now!

George - yes I was suggesting that Cowell and the "machine" won't want her because she has kids.  But I am a cynic.

Public will grow to love her Mikeeey Love

Being a mother (and having chubby legs) de-sexes her somewhat for the female vote, and gains sympathy.

Beautiful though she is I don't think she'll suffer from that old bugbear of Specials -female jealousy.

Spot on Henry and a very important point.  Throw in hard knock life/low self esteem/pretty but doesn't know it and she looks like a fav in waiting to me.

Isn't that all similar to Stacey though who IMO was the better of the two and she got thrashed by Joe in the final?

speaking of bus-like rear ends..TreyC has more than a powerhouse ballard or 2 in the locker...How she is treated over the next couple of weeks could be key to Rebecca's chances. Although last week was boardering on stitch-up so cant see her getting any boom-boom-shake-the-roon late slots

Nah Lou like comparing Shergar to Muffin the Mule.

I wouldn't quite say Stacey was Shergar but point taken.

I do.  Really don't think Rebecca's that great myself.

Stacey will be eating kangaroo bolllocks in the jungle soon and she opens Lidl's for £3k a pop. I would bathe in Rebecca's sweat. Get on now before price crash. And no that's not a ramp.

LOU MACARIS TARTAN B

I would rather bathe in Stacey's sweat than Rebecca's.

I think Rebecca's the more attractive of the two.
