growing tide of people (see facebook page) seeing Wagner as the anti-hero - he's moved out of the contestants house and criticised the judges, and of course Cowell doesn't want him to win. Could the same people who stopped him getting xmas number one (no mean feat), succeed again in upsetting Cowell ? at 160-1 get on and get voting !!

Fair enough we can only wait and see. I think Jedward were massive news last year and only finished 6th? Absolutely no hope in hell he'll win it IMO.

I've spread the VFTW site onto DS
Might try and get a facebook group and a twitter going. Difference with Jedward is that Wagner has a much wider potential voting base. People of all ages could get behind Wagner, he is infinitely more likable |

Good luck with it Jack but I wouldn't vote him myself. I've always said that Jedward are the worst ever act on X Factor final 12 but I honestly now think he's worse. Nice fella, makes me smile but utterly dreadful.

Interesting one...Jedward were so disliked amongst the public that they had little chance of increasing their vote despite the exposure. Wagner has a far better shot in as much as a harmless portly older gentleman with stereotypical comedy dodgy accent will have far more favour than a couple of snotty kids.
On the flipside, Wagner currently isn't getting anywhere near the exposure Jedward did. Seen worse 150 shots, there is potential for a snowball, albeit tiny. Might need cowell to step up the unmerited ramping of certain chosen acts. |

Wagner and Jedward both marmite but different flavours I think. Wagner has that likeability factor though I see from the yougov poll that 4x ore men than women vote for him which is surely terminal?
I think the better comparison is with john sarjeant and remember he pulled out himself to stop himself from wining. No chance of that with Wagner. I'm on at 320s so please feel free to go ahead with the viral campaign; you have my full support. |

I've lost confidence in Wagner winning since his rant last week. He's still my biggest green so I'm all for him winning, but I think Cowell won't let that happen. Cowell had no control over people buying the RATM tune last year but he has control over who wins X Factor.
