We all have our own opinions let me make that clear but I thought she was awful in the sing off.  If that's the best she can do I really do worry for her honestly.  Drab Beatles song and not sung well at all.

cnducted herself well with the group also will definitely not be in bottom 2 next week . will wear normal clothes and sing somewhere over the rainbow soemthing like that. still cant see how people thought nicolo would get votes. in a bit of profit from the show at mo but expect to make a killing this series .

Katie could perform like Leona, but she will never succeed. She is less popular than Tony Blair. I was just amazed that she even got one vote.

If she keeps on getting bottom 2/3 and the judges keep on saving her the public will get very suspicious on the intergrity of the show (if not already). The judges will have no option but to kick her out.

trust me next week the girl band r gone . thell have to do something remarkable . katie will get the pimp spot next week sing a nice slow song look normal . people will have seen that performance and thought wow this girl can actually sing.

The public are very fickle and if she does deliver a few good performances they will soon forget the Gamu stuff. Far to marmite to win though or even to make top four.

i was a teeny bit suprised the girlband stayed out of bottom 3 this week i must admit. but at the end of the dsay they cant sing together at all and are goners very soon . were as katie is very capable of pulling out a showstopping performance

Funny how people's opinions differ so much.  You say you'd have given Katie 10/10 (that's as good as a Shirley Bassey/Streisand/ Christina etc right) whereas I'd have scored her 4.5 for that.  Strange.

Katie is unique and a very strong character to perform to that standard with all the pressure that has been on here. I strongly believe she will grow with each performance.

She was OK - nothing special. I'd worry that's the best she can do though, as her voice sounder very strained in parts.

They'll save her next week, but I think it's a case of three strikes and she's out. They've never dared saved anyone more than three times.

There'll also be more double eliminations to come  - they can't save her if she finishes bottom of the pile.

X FACTOR viewers were livid last night after judges including Cheryl Cole saved Katie Waissel from the boot.

Fame-hungry Katie scraped through only thanks to the judges - and viewers flooded the internet with messages branding her "horrendous" and "a goblin".

Katie's continued presence on the show means controversy and more press coverage which is exactly what X Factor thrives on.
They will do everything in their power to keep her in for as long as possible imo.

People aren't likely to tune in just to see her though.

She's not a ridiculous novelty act, like Jedward and Chico, who can draw in the viewers - and few will watch for the pleasure of hearing her wonderful voice.

They may save her over John and Belle Aime, but it wouldn't surprise me if they kept Wagner or Diva Fever over her.

I'm willing to take a chance (it's not a very big one, as I'm quite small time and already covered my bets after laying any other in first elimination). Really think she'll be in for a few more weeks minimum, and after that, who knows where it goes. People couldn't stand Alex Reid in CBB when it started.

Public are fickle, and if we see a stripped down version, who belts out a few decent numbers perceptions will change. Cher will have had a meltdown, the boys will prove to be weak one trick ponies (a la Jamie, fliptop head man, etc) and that boy band can't sing for toffee (didn't stop Boyzone though).

There'll be some other scandal...you can see the tabs are scraping around for something and coming up with manufactured lines at the moment, because as soon as there is a proper story, they'll all cover the same one, something they are not doing at the moment. And let's not forget, Katie didn't take Gamu's place, Cher did.
